Hello Ladies! Sorry I missed you last night again. Perhaps we will see eachother Thurs eve at the Wev reunion.
I wanted your suggestions regarding paying about $600 for SEO - seach engine optimization. It may be more..... It seems i don't have much of a choice at this time. It also seems that money is only coming out. Debby was right, wow, no one has bought one thing from me yet. :( although my store is open....
I was curious for your suggestions on getting the word out about littlestarcreativeparties.com
Should I pay for ads at Blogs? Should I get a booth at the Women's festival or cancel that since it is only local and who knows if it will be worth it. I am currently offering 20% off the laplop lunch boxes at my son's school until April 25th/ His school is trying to become more aware of the amt of trash we throw away and have kids use less plastic./less waste etc.. Anyways.... any comments I would appreacite.
Anyway... thanks in advance!

WOW! $600 seems like a lot for SEO. I would want to know exactly what I would be getting for that. Basic SEO you can probably do yourself. You can submit your site to search engines, this will help you get in their data base and help you get crawled. It looks like you've already been crawled by google though so that's good. Another thing people do for SEO is pretend you're the customer, what search terms would you use to find your products or service, make a list. Are these terms on your site? It helps to really look at your product descriptions, company description, page titles, photo alt tags and make sure the search terms you came up with are on your site - a lot.
Also, do you have access to your web statistic? How many people have accessed your site? What search term did they use to get there? Where did they go? Check with your hosting company to see what kind of statistic they offer. If they don't have any or they're not very good you can use Google Ad Words to get some pretty good stats. But I wouldn't sign up for their advertising just yet. It can be a bit complicated.
Well I hope that helps a bit!
Debbie
